Weekend Reads: Internet Memes, Baby Cam, Dr Who for Parents, etc

Hi Everybody!  What are you in the mood for today?

If you’re looking for….a study that confirms what most of us already know:

New moms are tired.  While I thought this study was fascinating and gave some interesting insights in to how we sleep when we have a newborn, I really hope any follow up studies include Dads too.

If you’re looking for….some Dr Who:

6 parenting lessons from Dr Who.  Because toddlers are basically Daleks.

If you’re looking for….a way to see things from their perspective:

I enjoyed this more than I should have.  What happens when you strap a camera to the head of a 10 month old.

If you’re looking for….how to manage dinner:

This new book looks intriguing.  With two parents working 9-5, dinner can be challenging.  I haven’t read this book, but it’s going on my list.

If you’re looking for….some commentary on “behavior disorders” vs “being a brat”:

Here at GP, Lou always does a good job of demolishing internet memes.  For a non-GP meme take down, try this one.
